Privacy Policy

Rian Thai ("the App") is developed and maintained by Franziskus Borrmann. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your data. The short version: we don't collect any.

Data We Collect

Rian Thai does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The App does not require account creation, login, or any form of registration.

On-Device Storage

All your flashcard progress, learning statistics, preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. This data never leaves your device except through iCloud sync (described below).

iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled, Rian Thai uses Apple CloudKit to sync your learning progress across your Apple devices. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Analytics

Rian Thai does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting services. We only receive aggregated, anonymised metrics through Apple's App Store Analytics, which Apple provides to all developers. These metrics do not identify individual users.

Advertising

The App contains no advertisements and integrates no advertising SDKs or frameworks.

In-App Purchases

Premium subscriptions and the Lifetime Mastery licence are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit 2. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information. All billing is handled by Apple according to their terms of service.

Third-Party Services

Rian Thai does not integrate any third-party SDKs, trackers, or services beyond Apple's own frameworks (Core Data, CloudKit, StoreKit 2).

Children's Privacy

Since the App does not collect any personal data, it is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
